Role Description

Do you love seeing the fruits of labor come to life before your eyes? We are seeking someone ready to take the wheel and execute their own projects. We need Commercial Construction Site Supervisors to oversee and manage demolition, construction, trades, materials. You will be in a lead position at specific sites to ensure efficiencies are gained with schedules, budgets and resources while working to specs and maintaining the utmost safety standards of the construction industry.

This role is a balance of planning, on-the-spot problem solving, hands-on leadership, hard-hat oversight and getting your hands dirty to get the job done. Both indoor and outdoor work is required in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and basic tools of the trade.
• Valid drivers license.
• Excellent skills in managing a diverse range of skilled labor, vendors and trades to ensure project schedules and budgets remain on track.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to manage on site communications as well as regular status updates to Project Manager and/or Client.
• Minimum 3 years experience with leading a multi-person construction crew.
• Minimum 3 years experience with managing project schedules, budgets and trades to maximize team performance and project deliverables.
• Minimum 1 years experience of effective project status reporting.
• Experience with buying and logistics is preferred.
